A new web-based procedure of Mago4 2.4.5 streamlines the stages of verification of VAT status, in accordance with Romanian regulations.

The National Agency for Tax Administration (ANAF) is a public body of Romania, operating for the Ministry of Finance. ANAF has the task of collecting taxes, duties and contributions. In December 2018, the web service provided by ANAF was enriched with the addition of useful information to improve the control of the fiscal status of Customers / Suppliers.

What is this about? In practice, the operation of VAT status control is used to verify the validity of a VAT number and to know the type of tax system. This is useful to verify whether a domestic supplier is active or inactive, to validate, or not, the deductibility of VAT, to know if the subject operates under the Cash Accounting regime or under the Split Tax system.

At ERP level, Mago4 has always embraced the Romanian legislation on the issue with a service of verification through a table, whose information was updated by a manual procedure; with the new 2.4.5 release, Mago4 is now able to take full advantage of the web service of ANAF for the control of fiscal status.

In fact, following the introduction of the new status controls on Customers and Suppliers, the verification of whether the supplier is in cash accounting system is now carried out by querying the web service, instead of reading the table above mentioned. Of course, it is still possible to restore the offline check, i.e. by consulting the table that is updated by the procedure Download Cash Tax Companies.For suppliers, a check is also carried out to find out whether the subject is VAT active or deactivated by displaying special messages. In particular, when saving purchase documents and received documents, the notice is obtained in presence of non-deductible documents and a supplier qualified as an active VAT subject or in the presence of deductible documents and a supplier qualified as an inactive VAT subject. Similar messages are displayed in the control report of document for suppliers. For suppliers, a check is also performed on the activation or deactivation of the Split Tax system.

Also with this targeted and specific update for the Romanian market, ERP Mago4 confirms its international orientation by simplifying procedures and aligning itself with the regulations of the reference country.

Summer, time for well-deserved rest and vacations!

All teams of Microarea and Mago4 wish users and resellers a pleasant summer break.

As for us, the offices will remain regularly open throughout August to ensure continuity of development, assistance and support on all activities, ordinary and not.

In this way we intend to embrace a dimension more oriented to global business on the operational level, eliminating the " Italian " forced breaks characteristics of the summer season ... It is no coincidence that Mago4 is the ERP Zucchetti with the most marked international mentality!

German Localization

The German localization extends the functionality of the Financials Accounting Area thanks to the availability of the specific ZM Declaration for the German market.

As part of the continuous expansion and diversification of the international functionalities of the Mago4 ERP, one of the current focal points for the EU area is the management of tax returns in Germany.

For this reason, the Financial Accounting Area of Mago4 is further enriched, immediately after the publication of the VAT Settlement Model in release 2.4.4: with the 2.4.5 release, it will also be available the ZM Declaration (Zusammenfassende Meldung Form, or Form for the Summary Declaration) concerning intra-Community sales.

Through a batch procedure, called ZM Declaration, it will be possible to process the declaration itself, to be sent to the Tax authorities, on a file in CSV format; the folder where the file is exported can be indicated in the Accounting Parameters, Declarations tab.

It is important to note that the ZM Declaration can have a monthly (by default), quarterly or annual periodicity.

In the ZM Declaration, Customer VAT number and type of transactions groups intra-Community sales: normal (sales of goods), services and triangulations, where triangulations are sales of goods involving three distinct subjects: seller, promoter and recipient. In the latter case, therefore, the goods travel from the seller to the recipient but the promoter (who generally processes such goods) is the one who invoices the sale to the recipient.

Data generate directly from the sales documents, where the amounts are distinguished between goods and services according to the line type, and a specific option identifies the documents relating to the triangulations.

The procedure also allows a paper print with the cover page and two reports, one to list sales of goods and triangulations to EU customers, the other to list sales of services to EU customers. In each of the two reports, you can check the individual documents that have merged into the Declaration by simply clicking on the amounts.

This further step forward in German localization is part of the Service Pack 5 of Mago4 2.4, the continuously updated Zucchetti ERP, which is natively oriented to the global market.

Access Control Zucchetti

Italy is already a technological leader in the next FIFA World Cup: Zucchetti will manage the security and access control of the stadiums.

Zucchetti won the tender for the security management and access control of the futuristic Al Janoub stadium (formerly Al Wakrah), thus "repeating" in Qatar the success achieved for the Khalifa International Stadium. The Al Janoub sports facility is the first of eight stadiums where the next FIFA World Cup will take place, and is therefore an important symbol for all sports lovers who have chosen to entrust Zucchetti with one of the most important aspects: the management of safety.

The Acess Control system consists of a total of 72 gates with tripod turnstiles, 10 motorized doors for the disabled, 2 VIP entrances and 8 handheld entrances for VVIP, its installation took place in just two months between March and April 2018. With an elegant design and 100% made in Italy, the Zucchetti devices combine innovation, technology, robustness and practicality, while ensuring a perfect balance between safety, comfort and freedom of movement. The 7-inch high-brightness graphic displays on both sides are designed to give different information to visitors and operators, and can read all types of tickets: from the traditional paper ones, to smartphones, passing through print@home and RFID/NFC tickets. All this guarantees ease of use, speed of reading and maximum visibility; moreover, access control is perfectly integrated with third-party systems such as Ticketing, BMS (building management system), FAS (Fire Alarm System) and Parking.

The Zucchetti product manages to combine the needs of places that can accommodate a large number of individuals (in this case up to 40,000 people) with the aesthetic needs of a project with a careful and sophisticated design. The Al Janoub Stadium, inaugurated on 16 May with the final of the Amir Cup 2019, is in fact an architectural benchmark: Zaha Hadid's project is evocatively inspired by the sails of the dhows, the traditional sailboats of the Arabian Peninsula and the Indian subcontinent.

A sophisticated project that represents an important success for the Zucchetti Group, since the implementation of security systems of the only two stadiums realized so far for the World Cup was in both cases assigned to Zucchetti. This is therefore a further and gratifying confirmation of the Group's excellence, both in Italy and abroad.
