IMS is the engine of integration between Mago4's and Infinity's worlds: we discover now how it is able to bring decisive benefits to company's operations.

As you know, Mago4 is integrated with several software and services of the Zucchetti galaxy. In particular, for the integration with Infinity Zucchetti, there is a specialized engine called IMS.

Before we get to the heart of the matter, let's take a step back: what does it mean to have Infinity Zucchetti? In practice, it means to have a web application (using the browser) to manage the company's CRM, to manage your calendar or the shared business contacts; it also means DMS, document management, with the possibility, thanks to its technology, to display via web any attachment to documents, even ERP ones.

The use of IMS (Integration Management System) is a great step forward for the exchange of data in real time between Mago's and Infinity's environments.

Sometimes, to access new features or an extended set of data to share between applications, the IMS component has to be updated. We are well aware that software updating is often seen as a moment of blocking normal operations with obvious repercussions on company efficiency. To completely eliminate the so-called "downtime" due to the necessary update of the component, we have improved also this aspect: from the new version of IMS (1.0.10) it is in fact possible to update IMS without blocking operations on either Mago or Infinity! Simply, the reference partner will update the integration component in a "silent" way, without disturbing or interrupting anyone's work.

New synchronization feature

Mago4 has the innate ability to integrate to expand its functionality. The last SP of Mago and the new IMS accelerate in this direction.

With the release of Service Pack 1 of Mago4 2.3 and of I.Mago Studio 1.0.8, the integration with Infinity continues to improve, spurred on by feedback from users. In fact, with the new releases two important and useful features are made available.

The first is the so-called massive filter. To initialize the connection between Mago and the Infinity environment (also in the I.Mago configuration), it is necessary to populate Infinity with the data already present in the ERP Mago (for example, data about Customers, Items, Suppliers, Currencies); to perform this action there has always been the procedure of "massive synchronization".

In the new versions of Mago4 and I.Mago Studio, the massive procedure allows the transaction to be carried out in tranches rather than in a single moment. It is natural to wonder why this possibility, since the data must all be included in Infinity. The answer is simple: the new structure of the procedure ensures better performance, with less impact on everyday work.

An example for all: it will be possible to manage the data- filling in Infinity during time slots agreed with the user company, in order to perform the operation in closing times, or, at least, in periods with low operational traffic. In fact, it is important to bear in mind that the massive synchronization procedure, by its nature, requires a lot of resources on the server in which it is performed: the need to synchronize hundreds of thousands - if not millions - of customers, suppliers, articles, etc. it certainly involves several hours of processing. Conversely, the new massive filter will allow us to plan during all the nights of a given week, a range of data to be synchronized with Infinity. In this way every morning, at the time of resumption of normal operation on the ERP system, the server will be free to manage the "normal" requests, without penalizing the company's efficiency in terms of time. It will of course be advisable to start working with Infinity or I.Mago only when the massive synchronization will be completely finished.

Here we are at the second innovation on the integration topic, provided for in Mago4 2.3.1: in synergy with IMS 1.0.8 it is now possible to define which data should be included in the synchronization process. Thanks to a new parameterization / filtering window, the company can define which product categories to flow on Infinity (CRM or E-commerce), which categories customers and suppliers make the object of synchronization, and much more!

These filters act on both the "massive" and "on-time" synchronization operations, ie when a Mago operator modifies or inserts data. If the modified / inserted entity falls within the selected filters, the data will be synchronized, otherwise it will remain only in Mago. This is a great convenience to focus only on what you really need on the crm / e-commerce side.

We often talk about international ERPs, able to operate effectively in the most varied contexts and realities of different countries. Nevertheless, what are the characteristics of an ERP software that is really able to ensure a competitive advantage everywhere?

It has to be first at all a multi-language ERP, to process in different languages information such as invoices, names, quantities, currency, price lists. The ERP has also to be multi-company and multi-legislation, to manage the legal and tax regulations of the various countries. Moreover, it is essential that it is able to integrate efficiently data from heterogeneous systems, including third-party software. Naturally, we take it for granted that a truly international ERP is modular, scalable, quick to implement and easy to use. In summary, in order to successfully follow projects without borders, an ERP software has to represent a solution with native international capabilities and preferably have a local integrator, able to facilitate the implementation phases.

The ERP Mago4 has all these characteristics, and it is in fact one of the pillars of the international presence of the Zucchetti Group, a force able to build relationships of trust with local players with whom to share principles and visions for a competitive growth.

The latest confirmation comes from an important test case, in a strategic country like Germany. Thanks to an important project started from basis, fully focused on Mago4 and conducted by Zucchetti GMBH for the Company Randazzo GmbH, the German scene enriches the solid functional localizations of the international ERP Mago4.

Randazzo GmbH is present on the German market with Gusto Italia, a small B2B and B2C sales company that offers Italian food products and specialties in the heart of the Rhine-Main region, near Frankfurt. The main feature of Gusto Italia is to be configured both as a physical market and as a sales system to the retailer, for export purposes too, thus presenting numerous and extremely different needs.

As part of the project, it was immediately clear that the logistics processes of Randazzo GmbH face the same challenges as large companies in the Cash&Carry and the retail sale of food products, especially in the Supply Chain and Warehouse Management sectors: having customized lists, managing lots and mixed pallets are just some of the most important needs. For the company, it is also essential the guarantee of a software capable of growing together with its business.

To fulfill all these requirements, Mago4 ERP has been entirely converted ex novo, also dealing with a series of apparently trivial aspects (adaptation of the fictions, which now follow the German model, import into Mago4 of all the inventory and related data). The ERP is now ready to perform a primary role in the management of master data and price lists, with the definition of prices and barcodes.

With Mago4, Gusto Italia has initially adopted all the functions dedicated to the management of the logistics area, with special attention to WMS and WMS Mobile and to the management of lots characterized by a precise DMD - Date of Minimum Durability. As the needs increase, the company has implemented a complete configuration also in the Supply Chain area, in a progressive and modular manner.

With the ERP Mago4 and the support of Zucchetti GmbH's experience, Gusto Italia quickly achieved a decisive optimization of processes and a rapid increase in production thanks to the drastic reduction of waste of goods, greater transparency in the processes and control of deadlines and the drop in consumption related to inventory logistics.

Mago4 has therefore played a crucial role for Gusto Italia and at the same time has been able to receive an important stimulus from the customer. In fact, a specific need for Gusto Italia, which is linked to the management of variable-weight barcodes, has been implemented within the software functionalities and transformed into a growth factor at the operational level. Mago4 now has a substantial improvement in the management of barcodes and is able to administer variable-weight barcodes within the active/passive cycle (ie relating to products, whose packaging does not have a predetermined and constant weight, the unit sales price of which varies according to the final weight).

The German case is exemplary: Mago4 is able to face the challenge of international development by supporting a seamless operation both of companies that want to project themselves abroad, and of already localized realities, combined with an implementation through a "trust- based network " branded Zucchetti.

Both I.Mago, as well as Mago4 integrated with Infinity, represent an operational configuration that extends your ERP and allows you to have perfectly synchronized work environments, with congruent data and punctual information, always available, on the status of synchronizations between Mago4 and Infinity Zucchetti.

We have already dealt with the crucial issue of synchronicity between systems: when you begin to create an integrated environment from scratch (made up of either Mago + Infinity or I.Mago), one of the preliminary operations is precisely the so-called "massive synchronization". It is this procedure that allows Infinity to "know" Mago4's data; in practice thousands of customers, suppliers, articles and many other elements are synchronized by Mago towards Infinity, thus forming a sort of common ground on which to operate.

The new Monitor is a web application that uses the latest technologies in the sector - it is in fact developed in .net Core and Angular4 - and is designed to be seamlessly integrated with the Mago4 Data Synchronizer.

Tesan Connector for Mago4

Mago4 now integrates with Zucchetti Card Health System.

The Italian Minister of Economy and Finance (with a Decree dated July 31, 2015) ruled that physicians, surgeons, and dentists, pharmacies and facilities accredited to the National Health Service must now send to the Health Card System, even through intermediaries, a dedicated file containing the data related to health care costs incurred in the year. The transmission must be carried out no later than the month of January of the year following the year of the expense.

In this way the Health Card system provides the Revenue Agency with information concerning the health costs incurred by citizens, in order to draw up the prefilled tax return preparation.

To meet this new requirement,Zucchetti has developed the solution "TESAN - Data transmission to the the Health Card System " that allows you to easily manage the transmission of the costs incurred by the aforementioned subjects to the the Health Card system, according to the new laws.

Therefore, Mago.net and Mago4 were properly aligned to the system via the TESAN Connector, included in Service Pack 1.1 Mago4 (and SP 3.12.8 of Mago.net).

Your Mago ERP quickly and easily integrates with Zucchetti TESAN solution, producing for this purpose a CSV (text files that can accommodate long lists of data and to import information into spreadsheets and charts) that collects and provides the system a set of targeted data, such as the Tax Code of the health structure and of the patient, the payment identification, the type of service and the details for the refund.

The export concerns all recordable sales documents: invoices, accompanying invoices, receipts, debit notes, credit notes. Tesan Connector also provides a set of warning messages on the documents, both in case of cancellation and of modification.

The new feature (that is of course available only in Italian localization) can be activated from the Administration Console; you can see it on the menu in terms of procedures and parameters.

Einvoicing 2016

1 August 2016: new tests will be performed on files sent; starting from 2017 B2B e-invoicing will be encouraged.

Even the electronic invoicing procedures evolve and flow format to be sent is progressively refined according to the criticalities emerging between PA and suppliers.

This is why starting from 05.09.2016 is in force the release 1.2 of the checks carried out on files sent to the Interchange System (whose specifications are available on the government website dedicated to the invoicing PA).

This version will be fully phased from August 1 and introduces a series of checks on the data present in the file transmitted to the Interchange System. To allow the necessary compliance with the new system of checks, up to July 31, 2016 the failure to pass one or more of such new inspections do not result in the rejection of the file, but only a report that will be reported in the delivery receipt or non-delivery notification. Since August 1, 2016 files that do not pass one or more of these controls will be discarded.

The new regime will carry out a series of additional controls, including, in particular, the integrity test - to ensure the document was not altered after the signature - the verification of authenticity of the signature certificate, based on information provided by the "Certification Authorities", the check of conformity of the invoice format. Furthermore, it will be also controlled the validity of the content of the bill, to detect the presence of the necessary data for the proper forward of the document to the addressee and to prevent situations of incorrect and / or non-processable data, the uniqueness of the invoice, in order to intercept an accidental re - sending, dimensions and nomenclature of the file.

In Mago are set up special tests on various types of cases reported by the Tax Agency. The outcome of audits confirmed that your ERP is already aligned to the new rules because it is able - via the E-Invoicing Module of Mago, connected to Fatel and Fatel WEB Zucchetti solutions -, to manage the necessary control, thus complying with the latest version of the controls required to bill the PA.

That's not all: there is another issue to be considered carefully, which will be a "hot" topic in the coming months in the B2B field. We are talking about the Electronic Invoice between enterprises, another step towards the digitalization of the country. The Decree on B2B Electronic Invoicing provides, with effect from 1 January 2017 and on a voluntary basis, the electronic transmission of data to the Tax Agency of all invoices issued and received.

The adoption of electronic invoicing in the relationships between enterprises, alongside the one, already mandatory, for the PA, will not be formally compulsory, but will be strongly encouraged. Those who choose to make use of electronic invoicing between private, in fact, should be facilitated in the electronic transmission and could combine commercial and fiscal notice. For them would be abolished formalities such as tax communication and the reporting of operations with Black List countries and the INTRA models related to purchases of goods and services, expensive and unwelcome obligations that burden on the operations of enterprises. The taxpayer, then, would get faster VAT refunds.
