Summer, time for well-deserved rest and vacations!

All teams of Microarea and Mago4 wish users and resellers a pleasant summer break.

As for us, the offices will remain regularly open throughout August to ensure continuity of development, assistance and support on all activities, ordinary and not.

In this way we intend to embrace a dimension more oriented to global business on the operational level, eliminating the " Italian " forced breaks characteristics of the summer season ... It is no coincidence that Mago4 is the ERP Zucchetti with the most marked international mentality!

We just want to wish everyone a happy summer break!

 




German Localization

The German localization extends the functionality of the Financials Accounting Area thanks to the availability of the specific ZM Declaration for the German market.

As part of the continuous expansion and diversification of the international functionalities of the Mago4 ERP, one of the current focal points for the EU area is the management of tax returns in Germany.

For this reason, the Financial Accounting Area of Mago4 is further enriched, immediately after the publication of the VAT Settlement Model in release 2.4.4: with the 2.4.5 release, it will also be available the ZM Declaration (Zusammenfassende Meldung Form, or Form for the Summary Declaration) concerning intra-Community sales.

Through a batch procedure, called ZM Declaration, it will be possible to process the declaration itself, to be sent to the Tax authorities, on a file in CSV format; the folder where the file is exported can be indicated in the Accounting Parameters, Declarations tab.

It is important to note that the ZM Declaration can have a monthly (by default), quarterly or annual periodicity.

In the ZM Declaration, Customer VAT number and type of transactions groups intra-Community sales: normal (sales of goods), services and triangulations, where triangulations are sales of goods involving three distinct subjects: seller, promoter and recipient. In the latter case, therefore, the goods travel from the seller to the recipient but the promoter (who generally processes such goods) is the one who invoices the sale to the recipient.

Data generate directly from the sales documents, where the amounts are distinguished between goods and services according to the line type, and a specific option identifies the documents relating to the triangulations.

The procedure also allows a paper print with the cover page and two reports, one to list sales of goods and triangulations to EU customers, the other to list sales of services to EU customers. In each of the two reports, you can check the individual documents that have merged into the Declaration by simply clicking on the amounts.

This further step forward in German localization is part of the Service Pack 5 of Mago4 2.4, the continuously updated Zucchetti ERP, which is natively oriented to the global market.

Mago4 webinar second part

Everything is ready to kick off a new series of webinars dedicated to Mago4 and its features for the digital business!

The Mago4 Business Assistant team is ready to start with the planning of the second part of webinars designed to update and inform the audience of Users and Partners about the main features of the Mago4 galaxy.

After the success of the first cycle of online meetings, in fact, we left the choice to you, allowing you to select from a list of subjects the topics that you would like to explore during the webinars of the Mago4 Business Assistants.

The survey left no room for doubt: the absolute preference, with 55% of the votes, goes to the presentation of I.Mago 4.0, or the new version of the extended management system capable of integrating the most consolidated desktop features with web technologies for collaboration and the entirely digital structure of all business processes.

The high expectations on the extension of the management functions thanks to the dialogue between applications are confirmed by the second position of the survey, occupied by the module DMS, DMS Massive Archiving and Digital Storage Zucchetti, as well as the in-depth study on the functionality of the current connectors for integration with Mago4.

Not only: the topics you have chosen range also to more strictly oriented topics such as those related to Manufacturing and WMS, the Sales Force and accounting, up to the deepening on the After-Sales CRM in I.Mago 4.0

Between September and December you will therefore have the opportunity to participate in webinars on I.Mago 4.0, with an overview and in-depth analysis on the After-sales CRM, scheduled immediately after the summer break, on the DMS Module + DMS Massive Archiving + Zucchetti Storage, on Open Orders, Lot Management and Serial Numbering, continuing with existing integrations and a close up on connectors, Sales Force Management, to close at the end of the year with the Assets and Forecast Accounting. This is obviously a general planning, because new ideas are always in sight, so dates and topics may change over the months. In addition, to these topics will be added a final webinar dedicated to a surprise topic that will be revealed only later.

Recargo Equivalencia

Another country-specific feature Spain further expands the international reach of your Mago4 ERP.

The ability to develop solutions to better manage taxation and a complete and continuous assistance on the whole management product are just some of the many keys to success of Mago4 in Spain.

In Spain there is a system of taxation called 'Recargo de Equivalencia' (R.E.), which only concerns certain retail activities. This is a special scheme which is compulsory for resellers who do not process products at all, i.e. resellers to the final consumer. The Recargo de Equivalencia does not apply to industrial activities, services or wholesale trade.

However, there are exceptions within the retail sector where certain activities are not eligible for RE; these include jewellers, car dealers, boat and airplane sales, service stations and others. These categories are subject to a different regime, whereby the retailer has to pay, in addition to VAT, an additional amount (which is then the Recargo de Equivalencia); the payment is made directly to the supplier. This way, you are exempt from submitting the VAT payment itself. In practice, the supplier must include the RE on the invoice, differentiating it from the VAT, and consider both amounts as VAT charged in the relevant tax statement.

Thanks to its innate flexibility, Mago4 adapts to this typically Spanish system. Let's take the case of a customer covered by the special R.E. regime. With the Spanish location of the ERP Mago, in fact, in all sales documents starting from the Offers, in addition to the VAT in the detail line is calculated the Recargo of Equivalencia, and a rate for the R.E. is also indicated in the VAT code. The additional VAT, calculated by Mago4, is shown in the tax printouts of the VAT sales register and its summary by VAT code, general summary of VAT registers and VAT clearance.

Maximum adaptability to all situations, efficiency based on local peculiarities: this is how Mago4 is able to support any phase of business management, anywhere in the world. 6 month of Mago4's webinars

Between January and June 2019, the first cycle of webinars dedicated to the theme " Mago4 for digital companies" was held and aimed at users and partners. Here are the results of this very positive experience!

In the first 6 months of the year, the appointment with Mago4 was "fixed": every two weeks, in fact, users, retailers and the Mago Business Assistant team met together in a virtual classroom to learn more about many useful and interesting topics.

The experience was a huge success, widely appreciated by the vast majority of participants. The numbers of these 10 meetings in fact speak for themselves: the total number of participants was 600, with a redemption of 73% with respect to registrations, variously distributed between retailers and end users of Mago4.

The most appreciated topics were those discussed in the sessions related to the advantages of I.Mago in the administrative area, held in January, with a +140% of attendance compared to the average, followed by the webinar dedicated to production optimization with the Manufacturing of Mago4, which was held at the end of May and recorded a +133% of attendance and, to close our "top 3", the meeting dedicated to the control and monitoring of business costs in mid-April, with a good +118%.

The results have been very positive not only with regard to the content phase, but also with regard to the performance supporting the online sessions; the best evaluations relate to the choice of content and the expertise of the speakers. The topics of the webinars were considered excellent by 78% of users and good by 20%, while 90% considered the speaker's speech to be excellent.

The interest of many participants in specific issues covered by online demos should be noted: many feedback of appreciation of this activity on specific topics has been provided.

If you have not been able to participate in any of the webinars, don't worry: every meeting has been recorded, so that you can always use the video by downloading it from the Private Area and from MyZucchetti portal.

Your opinion counts a lot and the continuous feedback, together with the dialogue between the Team, Resellers and Users pushes to do better and better. The collection of feedback data was in fact the tool that allowed to "sum up" and started a further planning: given the success of the first edition, the activity of periodic webinars will be proposed again for another six months, to deepen many other features of great interest to the ERP Mago4.

But there's a big news: by taking part in the online survey, you can choose which topics to deal with during the next appointments! Participating is really easy: vote on the topics you prefer by following this linkand expressing your preferences. Remember: you have 15 days from the publication date to vote!

EBanking Germany

New features for the German localization of Mago4’s Financials module.

Bank reconciliation is about verifying that the accounting records correspond to the data on the bank statement; in practice, this means verifying the correspondence between the balance of the general ledger account (with all movements of the bank statement) and the statement of the same account issued by the bank. In Mago4 this function is performed by the Financials module, and is now available for Germany localization.

The improvement dedicated to Electronic Banking Germany includes a feature that allows you to import bank statement files in xml format, according to the Camt52 and Camt53 paths, reconcile bank statements with accounting records and maintain bank statements; the relative control reports are also available.

The reconciliation procedure allows both to generate the journal entries starting from the bank movements communicated by the bank, and to combine them with already entered accounting records. Checklists are also available to verify the actual reconciliation between the bank movements of account statements and the transactions posted in the accounts.

This improvement extends the international reach of the ERP Mago4, the "by vocation" international ERP chosen in over 30 countries around the world. Find out more about the improvement by consulting the release note.
